I recently changed the air suspension compressor on my 1995 lincoln towncar. I bought it brand new from the dealer. I installed it but it wont work. the dash still displays the check air suspension light. My father told me that it might be the solenoid, but I dont know where that is. does any one know where it is located? also, is there another thing that could be the problem?

please and thank you

Tango Charlie asked:

I have a Lincoln Towncar 91 model. I was driving from home to work this morning and I happened to notice the air suspension sign active. What does it mean? Any help?

If it is something I need to get checked with a mechanic, how much would it cost me? Could you suggest me a cheap place to get it fixed?

Thank you.

Is $269 a good price for an air suspension conversion kit for a 1990 Lincoln Towncar?

dave_g_28 asked:

I have a 1990 Lincoln Towncar with a bad air suspension. The airbags leak, and the compressor finally gave out as well. Strutmasters.com has a coil spring and shocks conversion kit for $269. Is this a good price? Are these parts custom made, or can I buy some universal parts separately for cheaper?
