1999 lincoln towncar rear air suspension doesnt rise, Why?

Lincoln air suspension
Carlos D asked:

I have a 1999 Lincoln towncar which is equipt with rear air suspension. Everything works fine but the only thing is that when my car loaded on the rear the car supose to rise on its on. Most likely it must have some kind of pump or motorised motor that would control that. Where would that be and what is it called?

Height sensor in the rear keeps the car at the same height. If the back is real low, blown fuse, burnt air compressor, or leaking air spring.

Also, make sure the switch in the trunk is in the on position! (1st thing I’d check!)

you can get air bags for $80 a piece.and air compressor for $150.
